Just been thinking how sad it is that people you know become people you knew.
People you trusted to know you well enough, to really find out rather than assume...
let you down.
It comes to a point when you sit back and think and you wonder,
whatever happened to all those moments we spent together?
Are relationships really so fragile that gossip fodder, that assumptions, that lies, that rumours that truth twisted to nothings are enough to wreck something you build.
Something faux breaking something that you thought was real, you felt was real.
Ashes to ashes dust to dust,
why let animosity run through those veins?
Trust can be that easily crumbled,
just like buildings that fall,
it's never easy to build it back.
